“This was one of the highlights of our European trip with 2 kids, 2 parents and a grandparent. The rooms were clean. The proprietor was exceptionally friendly and helpful to us. You won't forget him. Breakfast was good and in a comfortable and unique space. I couldn't imagine a more convenient place in Meersburg. The only downside is there is a road nearby and you need to open the windows on hot nights. You might need some earplugs, but with those and the provided oscillating fan, I slept perfectly. If it weren't for that, I would have given 5 stars to the rooms.”

“The service was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and with a lot of choice including self made cakes, etc. The small garden is also perfect to chill out. The only negative point we could find was that it was hot in the room (with an outside temperature above 35°C). We will definitely come back!”

“Beautiful old European style hotel. Our room was large with a small attached outdoor balcony which was perfect for enjoying a glass of the local wines. A cold German style breakfast buffet is included. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The hotel has on-site parking and is just steps from the medieval town center of Meersburg, a castle, and public transportation. We did not have a car and had no problems getting around. This currently ranks as my favorite place in the world. A week there wasn't long enough!”

“A very cosy and clean hotel, right in the historic centre of Meersburg. Ideal location with its own car park, two steps away from the city's attractions. We had a room with a balcony and it was a hit. Mr Fuchs - the hotel owner - was very helpful right from the start and his advice avoided unnecessary stress. Thank you very much :)”

“Amazing little hotel! The room itself was cute & had a lovely view of the town & Bodensee. Very comfortable pillows. But the outstanding factors were the attentive & helpful staff who accommodated my husband & I with thoughtful touches. The breakfast was amazing! Local & bountiful with above average selections & quality. Very close to city center, easily walkable to the harbor front.”

“Great location, easy two minute walk town to many wonderful restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous lake. The hotel is beautifully decorated, very clean with spacious rooms. Parking on-site was great. There is a cute bar on-site, and a terrace to enjoy your wine/beer that you can buy from the hotel. The hotel owner - Alex, greeted us graciously and treated us like family. He took care of every need - and gave us excellent ideas for where to go, what to see - and where to eat. I highly recommend staying here, and can't wait to come back and stay here again. We stayed with 7 guests - and all were comfortable and happy to be here.
